Marquis Homes received the 2006 Consumer Choice Award in the Annual Monument Awards, hosted by the Northern Virginia Building Association (NVBIA) along with the Maryland-National Capital Building Industry Association (MNCBIA). The award was bestowed for Marquis' Benton model home at their Tysons Chase at Suncrest Community. The Consumer Choice Award is judged on a new home design's style, uniqueness and level of amenities. The Benton model at Marquis' Tysons Chase at Suncrest Community also took home a Monument Award for Best House in its category. The Monument Awards, now in their 49th year, honors exceptional achievements in the building industry in a number of various categories.
 
In addition to the Consumer Choice Award, Marquis Homes is a proud winner of the 2006 Nationals Silver Award for Best Brochure for a Homebuilder. The National Sales and Marketing Council (NSMC), a division of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), sponsors The Nationals -- National Sales and Marketing Awards Profiles in Excellence. The Nationals Awards ceremony is a featured celebration of the National Association of Home Builder's annual International Builders' Show (IBS).
